In the year 2015, at age 19, she published her first debut single Here. This single received a lot of acclaim and was well received from critics as well as listeners. It was ranked in the Canadian Hot 100, and Billboard Hot 100, ranked it at 19. Even Rolling Stone listed the hit as among the Top Songs in 2015. That same year, she dropped her debut album Know It All with the third song Scars to Your Beautiful being one of the five original songs which reached the top of Billboard charts, including The Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100. The song was unique due to the fact that many listeners were able to relate to her interview with rapper Rap-Up on her journey to learn to love and embrace herself. Cara's songs include messages of kindness self-love, self-love and mental wellness. Every song Cara sings comes directly from her struggles with mental illness, insomnia and other issues. Interview with Reuters the singer said that her album was "half turbulent" as well as "half complete". She describes her growth through therapy, and encourages anyone else to seek out assistance when needed. Alessia Cara, a Canadian musician born in Canada on 11 July 1996 to Italian parentage. Her first guitar was purchased from her parents at the time she was 10 years old, which sparked her musical passion. In the year 2003, she turned 13 she started singing songs she loved via YouTube. It was an excellent way to showcase to others the fact that she had the talent and the courage. In fact, one of her cover song Sweater Weather is the one that got her noticed by EP Entertainment. They allowed her to compose and record her own songs.
